On the occasion of Shabbat Zachor, the Beth Rivkah Seminary in France hosted an exceptional Shabbaton, bringing together more than 120 students from several Chabad seminaries across Europe.

It was an intense weekend, rich in learning, farbrengens, and joyful moments, which left a lasting impression on all the participants.

The students came from Milan, Prague, and Austria, joining their fellow students in Yerres for a Shabbat dedicated to unity, Chassidut, and strengthening their mission of Shlichut.

The program began with a captivating lecture by Rabbi Levi Azimov, focused on Shlichut in general and especially on Shlichut in France.

On Friday, the participants also attended an inspiring class about the upcoming holiday of Purim, given by Rabbi Elchonon Marosov.

The afternoon continued with a special trip to Paris, following the footsteps of the Rebbe. The students visited the famous “17” Synagogue, guided by Rabbi Meir Shlomo Lubecki, discovering the history and importance of this iconic location. The visit concluded with a group photo in front of the Eiffel Tower.

A Shabbat of Chassidut and Joy

The delicious Shabbat meals were filled with bursts of joy and also with inspiring words shared in several languages by the different seminary girls.

Throughout Shabbat, several farbrengens and classes were led by distinguished guests: Rabbis Pinson, Uzan, Celnik, Wilschanski, Raskin, Barash, Vorst, and Wolf. Each shared profound and inspiring teachings, helping create a warm and uplifting spiritual atmosphere.

The Shabbaton concluded with a beautiful Melaveh Malka, attended by Mr. Yossef Raba and Rabbi Mendel Gourvitch. The evening continued with a lively dance celebration in honor of Simchat Adar, energized by DJ Chaya Piekarski, creating an atmosphere of joy and unity.

The students returned to their respective seminaries with personalized gifts, strengthened, inspired, and filled with enthusiasm, ready to continue their mission with even greater strength and light.

A special thank you to the organizers of this unforgettable Shabbat, and especially to Rabbi and Mrs. Celnik and to the leadership of the Beth Rivkah Seminary in France for their remarkable dedication and investment.
