Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Crown, welcomed National Defence Minister Radu Miruta at Elisabeta Palace on Monday, with aspects related to royal actions in support of Romania within the European Union and NATO among the topics discussed.

‘The Custodian of the Crown and the minister discussed aspects related to royal actions in support of Romania within the European Union and NATO, those concerning support for the Republic of Moldova on its European path, as well as royal engagements within Romanian communities, in the diaspora and in EU countries regarding higher military education, civil-military relations, Invictus veterans and the activity of Romanian soldiers in multinational peacekeeping missions,’ the Royal Family of Romania informs in a post on its Facebook page.
