Surprising Departure at Lombard Odier in Zurich
Sabine Heller is leaving. She, who has led the Zurich office for the past two years, will leave the institution at the end of this month. According to an internal memo seen by finews, she cited personal reasons.
During her two years at Lombard Odier, Heller made a significant contribution to strengthening the bank’s presence in German-speaking Switzerland and increasing the visibility of the brand in the Swiss domestic business, the memo states.
Zug Head to Lead Swiss Domestic Business
Responsibility for the Zurich office will in future be taken over by Serge Fehr, who already serves as Head of the Swiss Domestic Region. In his additional role as Local Managing Director, he will represent the bank both internally and externally and ensure continuity in the ongoing work.
At the same time, Lombard Odier is expanding its regional leadership structure. Marco Arnold, currently Local Managing Director in Zug, will be appointed Head of German-speaking Switzerland and will report directly to Fehr. In addition to leading the Zug team, Arnold will also be responsible for the teams in the Zurich Swiss domestic business.

Arnold has been working for Lombard Odier since 2023 and, together with his team, has driven the establishment of the branch in Zug. The office opened in September 2024 and, according to the bank, has recorded strong local growth.
All personnel changes will take effect on 1 April 2026.
