Nara-ken government employees overwhelmed by increasing complaints regarding deer
Setting aside whether or not deers are actually being harmed by the “bad gaijins”, as a person who worked in customer service, people can really be assholes.
Considering the current trend of wanting to charge higher fees to tourists and people seeking residency… maybe they should do something similar for the deer – 5000yen to kick a deer sounds reasonable.

This needs clarification. It’s not that people are complaining about events that have occurred, like they actually saw a deer getting kicked. They are simply calling in response to the sns misinformation they see and demanding the government workers do something about it. Some examples of complaints are “why are you pretending nothing is happening”, “you should arrest those attacking the deer”, and “don’t let foreigners into the park”
