You have to be a special kind of person to think you could just sail any ship through the strait without getting immediately whacked by Iran.
 If America couldnt stop a militia in the Houthis blowing up tankers, you would be a fool to think America could stop an actual military doing the same thing but hiding in caves. No amount of military superiority can stop two dudes with a RPG shooting and hiding back in their caves. Tankers are sitting ducks.
