Iceland has increased its contribution to the Energy Support Fund for Ukraine by 2.7 million euros.

    According to a statement from the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, this amount is part of the country’s overall assistance.

    “Iceland has allocated an additional 2.7 million euros to the Energy Support Fund for Ukraine. The country’s total contribution now exceeds 8.4 million euros.”

    Such funds enable planned and emergency repairs, strengthen the protection of the energy infrastructure, build reserves, and respond quickly to the needs of energy companies.

    It is also reported that in February the Energy Support Fund received more than 208 million euros in contributions.

    In particular, it was reported that Sweden transferred an additional more than 56 million euros to the Energy Support Fund for Ukraine.
