Biathlete Kim Yun-ji added another silver medal at the Paralympic Winter Games in Italy on Wednesday, becoming the most decorated athlete in South Korean winter Paralympic history.

The 19-year-old crossed the finish line second in 26 minutes and 51-point-six seconds in the finals of the women’s ten-kilometer interval start sitting at Tesero Cross-Country Skiing Stadium in northern Italy.

Paralympic legend Oksana Masters of the U.S. took the gold, and fellow American Kendall Gretsch grabbed the bronze.

With Wednesday’s feat, Kim has won one gold medal and two silver medals in the 2026 Games and is now the most decorated South Korean in any Paralympic Winter Games.

Previously, the record was held by Shin Eui-hyun, who won one gold and one bronze at the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games.
