Snow or rain is forecast for parts of Gangwon Province and the Gyeongang provinces on Thursday.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on Wednesday, snow of up to 20 centimeters is forecast for Gangwon’s mountainous regions and one to three centimeters for Gangwon’s northeastern coastal regions from Thursday through Friday.
Rainfall of between five and 20 centimeters is expected for parts of the Gyeongsang provinces, Ulleung Island and the Dokdo islets on Thursday, while Busan will see between five and ten millimeters of rain.
Morning low temperatures will range from minus three to plus five degrees Celsius, similar to Wednesday’s readings, with daytime highs peaking between seven and 13 degrees.
Seoul will see morning lows drop to one degree before the weather warms up to 13 degrees in the afternoon.
