Just a short time after transferring to Israel to Maccabi Tel Aviv, Kosovo striker Emir Sahiti was forced to leave due to the situation in the Middle East.
Fearing for his life and family, Sahiti initially traveled by car to Egypt with his wife and daughter, from there he headed to Cyprus and then to Split, Croatia, where he will temporarily stay.
It is worth noting that the Israeli championship has been suspended since February 28 and it is not yet known when it will resume. The 27-year-old has played 4 games and scored 2 goals.
