Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation into the @CAOIletisim account of Ekrem İmamoğlu, whose 4 accounts, including his main account, were previously blocked in Türkiye.

Following the access ban imposed on Ekrem İmamoğlu’s main account @ekrem_imamoglu, the accounts @CBAdayOfisi, @CBAdayOfisi1 and @CBAdayOfisi11 were opened instead. "protection of national security and public order" Access was blocked 4 times in total for this reason.

The accusations against the new account are as follows;

TCK 217/A –

Publicly disseminating untrue information regarding the internal and external security, public order and general health of the country, in a manner that is likely to disrupt public peace, with the sole intention of creating anxiety, fear or panic among the public.

TCK 299 –

Insulting the President.

It is claimed that the post that caused the investigation was the following text:

“The lies and slanders of the malicious March 19 coup plotters will remain in their mouths.

It is the President who writes this scenario and gives instructions.

It is the former chief prosecutor who looks like a politician who takes the instructions, carries them out and continues all these unlawful acts.

The reward for the operations is the ministry; Its cost reached 250 billion dollars in 1 year.

This mentality and tyrannical regime; It is also obvious how it surrounds the institutions of the state, like the arms of an octopus, in pursuit of position, position and benefit.
