“We’re in talks with them, maintaining our dignity, with Russia and China out of the equation. It’s non-negotiable,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stated.

“We are discussing our bilateral relations, ranging from resuming the regular work of the embassy to releasing so-called political prisoners, even though we have no such charges,” the Belarusian leader noted. “[We are discussing] economic matters, sanctions, etc. — the whole package. About ten items on the agenda. We’re in talks on every matter. And we have lots of matters to discuss.”

“This is the only stance I take in these talks. There will be no concessions to suit them in any way. They aren’t asking for that either. They have understood it is not going to happen,” the President added.
