Eight mobile generators arrived in Sumy under the Cieplo z Polski humanitarian campaign. Find out which facilities will gain autonomous power during outages.

As part of the charitable initiative ‘Heat from Poland’, eight generators were handed over to Sumy. This equipment will help ensure the stable operation of critical infrastructure and social-sector facilities.

The Sumy City Council announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“Within the charitable initiative ‘Heat from Poland’, eight generators were handed over to Sumy. They will help ensure the stable operation of critical infrastructure and social-sector facilities, especially during periods of power supply interruptions,” the statement says.

The city council added that each planned heating point is now fully equipped with autonomous power sources and ready to operate during power outages.

The ‘Heat from Poland’ project (Ciepło z Polski) is a large-scale humanitarian campaign initiated by the Polish government in cooperation with the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Agency for Strategic Reserves (RARS). The aim of the campaign is to provide Ukrainian communities, hospitals, schools, and centers of resilience with equipment for heating and electricity generation amid power shortages in the energy system.

As Ukrinform reported, from January 26 to February 10, 2026, international partners delivered more than 560 units of energy equipment to Ukrainian energy workers.
