The territory belongs to the nation that is occupying the land and controlling it.. This is how it has always been throughout all of history everywhere in the world.. Right now there is a S. Korean flag on top of that rock and they are calling it Deokdo.. If she wants to change that then she can send some ships over.

Context: Conservatives held a “Takeshima Day” recently and in the past she had talked some big talk about the PM or at least a Cabinet Minister attending. But then once she became PM she chickened out because good diplomatic and economic relations with South Korea are far more important than this horseshit, and they sent a lower-ranking person, and conservatives were furious. Now she’s trying to win them back with more big talk.
