Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bulgaria to the Republic of Armenia, Nikola Nikolov. Yerevan and Sofia have been sister cities since 2008. Touching on the intensification of cooperation between the two capitals and the agenda for bilateral relations, the parties highlighted several areas.
Mayor Avinyan noted that the close relations between the two countries create valuable opportunities for city-level cooperation.
Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome and willingness to cooperate, Ambassador Nikola Nikolov noted that he would support the implementation of any possible joint projects.
