Hi! I’m trying to find a specific silver ring related to the Estonian Defence Forces and I’m hoping someone here might know where to get one.

My boyfriend did his mandatory military service (ajateenistus) in Jõhvi and he had a silver ring from that time (image). Unfortunately he lost it, and I would really like to surprise him by getting the same one again. A few months ago I remember finding a website that was selling these rings, but now I cannot find it anymore.

Does anyone know where these rings come from or where they can be bought? Maybe a specific store, jeweler, or website? Thank you!

Usually you can order it through your company or from the shop at the base. They have different sizes and make it to order. You can also have your name and the years of your service engraved on the inside.

    2. Usually the unit rings are ordered by the unit during the service itself. They usually order them from Roman Tavast or other reputable jewellery makers, so they probably have the designs somewhere in their archives.

On the other hand, it’s probably possible to ask the unit itself when they are ordering them, explaining your situation and asking if you could get one too. Might work out.
