I walked past the street yesterday when they had locked it down. Saw the forensics guy dressed in blue with the camera walking out. He must have been traumatised. Fucking sad.

Murder implies the baby was thrown from the window

A friend of mine had a terrible case of post partum depression, and had various thoughts in her head about her baby. I hope folks won’t be too judgy until more is known.

I threw a neighbourhood party and one guy excused himself as he was a police photographer and got called out. He came back to my party later and I will always remember what he said “car crash, the guy is still alive but his legs are gone. He will be dead soon”. Then he partied as normal.
I have never forgotten it.

The poor woman was likely struggling with serious mental health issues. What is described runs against one of the most powerful human instincts, a mother’s drive to care for and protect her baby. From the look of that apartment block, it doesn’t appear the most neighbourly of places, or one where a kindly neighbour would check in with other residents or offer support , a cup of tea or a friendly chat. Very sad situation.
