Today we had maintenance work done at my home (in the very far northside) so I took the opportunity to go somewhere. And, my god, it was worth it. It only cost me 50c to get here! (total daytrip was $2, but only due to transfers)

This is a view from the lookout of Burleigh Heads National Park. You can do a nice short loop, a cool ocean view walk and have a dip in the creek.

How long did this take? From sunshine to Burleigh must have been a mission.
This is one of the best lookouts near Brisbane! The walk to get there (by the sea) is also fantastic on a sunny day!

I’m curious as to why the trip cost more than 50¢ each way. Did your final trip not start within 3.5 hours of the first? Or did you take a break along the way somewhere?
