    NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia has reintroduced self-service check-in kiosks and automated baggage drop off desks at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport over five years after the service was discontinued due to the airport’s overhaul and expansion. Now offering significantly more self-check-in counters than previously in cooperation with technological partners SITA and IER, the service is expected to cut down on check-in times and congestion. Air Serbia passengers now have ten self-check-in kiosks at their disposal, including travel document validation. After checking-in, passengers with checked baggage can drop it off independently at one of the ten automated stations. The stations are located adjacent to the Premium check-in area and are intended exclusively for Air Serbia passengers.

Commenting on the development, Air Serbia’s Head of PSS and Distribution, Uroš Bijelić, said, “The new self-service check-in kiosks and baggage drop-off stations will further reduce waiting times and enable higher flexibility during travel. This step is part of a wider digital transformation of Air Serbia, which entails modernisation of services and improvement of all points of contact with passengers, on land and in the air, with the aim of providing a fast, simple and pleasant travel experience”.
