The exterior of the La Signature store in EPCOT’s France pavilion has significant damage around the windows and entrance.
La Signature Damage
We noticed most of the damage on these window frames below the “La Signature” sign. Though not clear from far away, the issues become clear up close.
It looks like parts of the window frames have started rotting. The left frame (pictured in the above photos) is worse than the right with entire chunks missing where the frame starts to curve.
The right frame also has some rotting and and weathering.
There’s similar damage around the top of the archway at the store’s entrance.
There are some holes and marks in the archway.
We don’t believe these problems are a safety hazard (yet) but they are “bad show,” meaning they don’t look as nice as you would usually expect Disney architecture to look. Hopefully, Disney fixes up these areas soon.
