      The $717bn is revenue. “Making” an amount is generally understood to be profit. While making revenue is a technically correct term, it misleads from colloquial understanding.

      If you haven’t already, I’d highly recommend doing research on AWS. Before becoming certified, I had very little knowledge. After completing the course I immediately went out and bought Amazon stock. What an amazing powerhouse they’ve created.
