      I am deeply saddened right now… I can’t even express my emotions…. This is a horrible day for the country. His life was a beacon of faith and guidance for generations. Georgia has lost a spiritual father. I can’t believe this is real.

      He was sick and for so long it’s hardly surprising. 93 is a solid age too.
      Rest in peace, I suppose. While I didn’t hold him in high regard, one does not speak ill of the dead.

      As for the orthodox Church, may it fall, crash and burn. It’s not a church, it’s a money laundering, propaganda producing cess pit and should go to a sewage clearing facility 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

      I do have a lot of respect for many religious people in our country and I would say I’m quite religious myself or atleast try to be, but I did have mixed opinion on Ilia II cause I don’t think religious leaders should have any power in politics, and many people around Ilia seem to be sympathetic to Russia which I cannot respect in any way, hope the future catholicos will be more away from the politics.
