Here is what you'll get for $60 at Tribe of Judah in Logan. I know there's a lot of "snack" foods here, but this will do my kids lunches and on the go snacks for a month. Along with the snacks, I picked up a couple of 250g Cadbury bunnies for the Easter bunny to deliver, 1kg of salami offcuts (easily sliced up for sandwiches or diced for other dishes), 1kg of tibaldi sliced ham, 2 dozen eggs, 18 cans of Fanta, 1kg frozen chips, 2kg tempura chicken nuggets, a Darrell Lea coconut slice, 2 boxes of cookies and a big jar of roast vegetable seasoning.

All of it is within its used by/best before date.

They also stock masses of fresh fruit and veg, milk, bread bulk meat etc.

Not to criticise what ToJ are doing, but that honestly doesn’t seem like it’s significantly cheaper than just going to Aldi?

  2. I like the Tribe team but recently they seemed to have upped their pricing a bit.

Always love the Dairy Farmers milk 2x2L for $5 on most weekends.

Great haul. People need to keep posting those pack of smokes/slab of beer vs what it gets you in groceries comparisons

Fresh & save had eggs for $1.99 a couple weeks ago. They also have .99c cent & $2 weeks where about 60% of the entire store is that price. Fruit & veg included. You should check them out!

not to even mention, the 25 bucks trolleys actually has food you can make and decent meals w

  6. Looks like just a bunch of snacks and soda? Not how I’d spend $60 on groceries but ok.

I don’t know why everyone is blowing up that it’s all junk food. I buy those boxes of chips for my kids lunch too. Two boxes last over 2 weeks at 1 little pack a day. Then there is the Easter bunnies – which almost every kid gets at Easter and that’s about it. A 10 pack of soft drink for the family. I’ve seen people eat far worse…

Yep they have some great stuff at good prices, only catch is they are often close to use by/best before, which is fine if you’ll use them soon.

Also the range is ever changing so you might not be able to get everything you need, or even same as last time.

Good place though. It’s religious backed but not shoving it down your throat just to go shop there
