Osanjici, Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina (“Daorson”)

Locality Osanjici near Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, center of Daorsa until the beginning of the 150s BC. The Daorsi are mentioned in written sources from the second century BC. not until the second century. I was there for the first time in 2008, then again in 2014, 2023 and 2025. Here are some of my pictures of the site. A magical place. It is very unfortunate that the state does not do more for this site, that is, by installing cameras against theft and destruction of archaeological objects, protection of the site, possibly new excavations and the construction of the Daorsa museum.
