    1. Definitely Karl Fazer now that you’ve smushed Kalev all up.

Serious answer, I don’t have a preference. It tastes the same to me, it’s overpriced chocolate. Pretty nuts.

Karl Fazer and it’s not even remotely close. As others have said already, Kalev is utter overpriced shit now.

I ate both recently and preferred Kalev. Kalev’s Anneke still the best choclate on the planet thought.

A matter of preference. They’re different. Get both and see for yourself.

BTW folks, it’s not “palm oil” since neither contains any. Fazer uses condensed milk in their chocolate. Orkla uses powdered milk.

Fazer milk chocolate is my favorite of all time. The Kalev ones taste like rubbish now.

    6. Fazer. Kalev just reduced their cocoa content as well and now it’s light brown and greasy. Only the top shelf ones with ancient Estonian characters are good, but also too expensive for what they are.

    7. Kalev for creamier and smoother consistency

Karl for stronger énfasis in chocolate flavor.

At least that’s how it works for me

    8. Oof, I have heard Kalev shat its pants, never knew it was this bad. If I would be someone from its office reading this thread, I would be really worried. This is probably damage that you cant fully recover from. Well, corporate greed should be punished, feel bad for the employees of Kalev tho.

    9. Of these two Fazer has more cocoa and fuller taste.
(I do like many Kalev chocolates though)

    10. Mäletan, et euro tuleku ajal umbes olid Kalevi asjad tuntavalt muutunud. Fazer is the way.

    11. Can’t tell you which is better, but Geisha from Fazer is just the best affordable chocolate you’ll ever find.

Fazer used to be much better, but it seems they’ve also changed their recipe, at least the iconic Fazer Blue, which is such a shame. 🥲🥲

    13. Karl Fazer, no contest these days. Kalev was good in my childhood, but after being sold to Orkla especially, some, uh, *changes* have happened.

Only the dark chocolate from Kalev is edible anymore, milk chocolate is kind of … waxy and devoid of much taste?
