The countdown is almost over! Mużika Mużika returns tomorrow for its sixth edition, bringing three nights of Maltese music, nostalgia and powerful performances to the stage.
Behind the scenes, hundreds of professionals together with the team at Festivals Malta have been working around the clock to bring the festival to life, from production and TV broadcast to staging, lighting and sound.
On 19 March, the 16 competing songs will be performed for the first time, with audiences finally hearing the entries everyone has been waiting for. Audience members attending the show at the MFCC will be able to vote through the official festival app, alongside the expert jury.
Friday Night Classics
Friday’s Serata tal-Klassiċi is always one of the most awaited evenings of the festival. Finalists will team up with veteran singers to perform iconic Maltese classics, with the songs themselves revealed live during the show.
The Grand Final
On the final night, singers will perform their original songs one last time before the winning song is crowned. Voting will be open through SMS voting for all audiences, together with the jury vote.
And that’s not all! Tribali will also take the stage as special guests for a unique performance during the final night.
When And Where To Watch
The festival runs between the 19 and 21 March 2026 and will air at 9pm on five local stations; TVM, ONE, Fliving, Smash TV and Xejk TV. The festival will also be broadcast on TVM+ with Maltese sign language interpretation.
