NFL quarterback Tyrod Taylor is entering a new chapter off the field after getting engaged to longtime partner Dr. Bianka Charity-Parker during a recent trip to Italy. The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, March 17, confirming the milestone with a simple but direct message: “You are my everything,” accompanied by a blue heart and infinity symbol.
According to The New York Post, Taylor presented Charity-Parker a pear-shaped diamond ring while the two were traveling. Rome-based photographer Galya Rudenko documented the moment.
Charity-Parker later echoed the sentiment on her Instagram Story, writing, “Forever isn’t long enough,” as the engagement quickly drew attention across sports and lifestyle circles.
While Taylor has built a reputation as a steady veteran presence in the NFL, his personal life has largely remained out of the spotlight in recent years. The 36-year-old quarterback most recently spent time with the New York Jets, appearing in eight games across the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
Before that, he served as a backup with the New York Giants under a two-year deal.
For her part, Charity-Parker brings a distinct professional background to the relationship. According to the Boston Child Study Center, she holds a Ph.D. in clinical and school psychology and works with children, adolescents, and young adults, focusing on evidence-based treatments for emotional regulation, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions.
In addition to her clinical work, she has experience in academic and school-based settings, including roles within public charter systems and specialized training through Brown University’s clinical programs.
The engagement comes after Taylor’s highly publicized split from model Draya Michele. The former couple, who dated from 2020 to 2023, were involved in a prolonged legal dispute over a $3.2 million California home they once shared.
