BTA will publish the names of the top-of-the-list candidates of every party/coalition for all constituencies for the April 19 parliamentary elections. The information about the candidates is provided by the respective political entity, the candidates themselves and other official sources.
Vladimir Nikolov is the top-of-the-list candidate of Progressive Bulgaria for Plovdiv City’s 16th multi-member constituency, the coalition press service said here Thursday.
Vladimir Nikolov is an iconic figure in Bulgarian sport and a long-time captain of Bulgaria’s national volleyball team, with which he won numerous honours at world and European level. His professional path includes 14 years of managerial experience as a manager and executive in the structures of Levski volleyball club, where he has worked actively for the development of youth sport and the professional section. He completed his higher education at Vassil Levski National Sports Academy, qualifying as a teacher and coach. His expertise combines sporting discipline with proven leadership qualities and skills in managing teams and large sports projects. Vladimir Nikolov speaks five foreign languages: Serbian, Russian, English, French and Italian.
