Police believe that a woman in her 20s who was indicted and charged with killing two men and injuring another with spiked drinks in early March also harmed three additional people.

The Seoul Gangbuk Police Station said on Thursday that it had referred the case of 20-year-old Kim So-young to trial for aggravated assault and violating the Narcotics Control Act.

The police said they had found the same substances they believe Kim used to spike her victims’ drinks in hair samples from two of the three newly identified victims.

Investigators suspect that the drugs were not found in the samples from the third person due to the passage of time.

Kim denies wrongdoing.

Kim was indicted on March 10 and charged with killing two men in their 20s and injuring another by giving them drinks laced with drugs between mid-December and February 9.

Her first trial hearing is scheduled for April 9.
