An unusual military exercise was conducted during the morning hours by the Serbian army near the border with Kosovo, causing concern among residents of the area in the interior of Kosovo, KosovaPress reports.
During the exercise, a helicopter dropped about 6 paratroopers in the Breznica area, while the other helicopter continued towards Muhovc and Karaqeva, where other paratroopers were dropped.
According to sources from the Kosovo border police, two helicopters have been circulating in this area, making several laps along the border, while a resident said that the helicopters have also entered Kosovo territory.
Police said that such activity near the border is unusual and has not occurred before.
Residents expressed concern about the noise of helicopters and movements in the air, creating uncertainty and fear among them.
