Lithuanian regulator reports 55% jump in fraud calls blocked in 2025

Lithuania’s telecommunications regulator RRT announced that more than 13 million spam calls were blocked in the country in 2025. The number increased by 55 percent year-on-year, due in part to more efficient preventive measures to stop the calls. In addition, some 5.73 million spam SMS containing links to harmful websites were blocked in 2025, up by 25 percent.
