Seriously though, the reason why a comedian can still make a damn decent head-of-state is because humour *is* serious business. Just think about how much work goes into just a stage act, thinking up jokes, making sure they are actually good and not just insult/shock/toilet, then putting them together into a coherent act. For that you need people skills *and* some organisation talent. Things any successful politician needs.
