Kosovo Post, in cooperation with the Faculty of Mathematical and Natural Sciences/Department of Biology, launched today the newest postage stamp issue “Plants of the Rocky Mountains of Kosovo”.
The rocky cliff spaces of Kosovo harbor a unique and resilient flora, adapted to harsh living conditions.
“Survival among stone and dryness has not affected the impressive appearance of the plants of the rocky cliffs. On the contrary, with their unique shape, they represent the wild beauty and resilience of our natural flora, which makes them an important part of Kosovo’s botanical heritage,” the Post’s announcement states.
From this issue, citizens will have at their disposal two postage stamps, the philatelic block and the First Day Cover, which will be in postal circulation until fully consumed.
Kosovo Post invites collectors, institutions and citizens to add these special stamps to their collections, which serve not only as communication tools, but also as ambassadors of Kosovo’s beauty and national values around the world. /Telegraph/
