  1. There it is. And this threat won’t go away even if the U.S. unilaterally concluded its involvement. We will be dealing with this danger for years/decades to come as long as the current power structure survives.

  2. threatening parks and tourist spots is a blatant pivot toward global asymmetric terror because the IRGC knows their conventional military and energy infrastructure can’t survive much longer. it’s the desperate final play for a regime that has lost its top leadership and is watching its economy burn in Kuwait and Tehran.

Iran is doing a phenomenal job of looking like the evil villain they always have been.

I mean, if you want to hit a landmark to send a message, it’s horrific and evil and all that, but it’ll do the job you want it to do.

But a fucking park? Where people, who already hate the government, hate their job, hate everything, are sneaking out to sit on a bench and contemplate their life choices… leave us alone, Iran. Come on!

Why can’t terrorists ever be good terrorists and like blow up a bank and give everybody free gold or hack into and delete the student loans database? Wouldn’t it make more sense to the agenda of sowing chaos if you mobilised the population of your enemy country in support of you?

  5. Wow… simply WOW, Iran is literally saying it’s going to commit terrorism… a fascist, theocratic, fanatical state. This is going to greatly antagonize Iran; the little sympathy I had for them has vanished…

  6. Funny-Ambition-7631 on

Who’s surprised? They were doing it before, and now they’re officially spreading terrorism.

  7. Wow confirmation that terrorists are terrorists. 🙃Why target military targets when you can terrorize civilians! Brilliant strategy regime scum.

  8. And this is why they cannot have nuclear weapons. . I am no fan of war. I am no fan of Trump. But, these assholes needed to be stopped.

Super glad Kash Patel gutted the FBI counterintelligence team tasked with tracking Iranian threats just days before the war started.

  10. Actual rogue terrorist state vowing to continue with actual terrorism. Israel should be sanctioned for this /s

  11. OK-Dravrah7455 on

We shouldn’t bow to terrorism. Plus of Iran dare to do that, countries would just ban all Iranian entry. Iranphobia & Islamophobia would shoot through the sky.

  12. Amonfire1776 on

Saying something like this just makes the situation worse for Iran. There would be no strategic benefit from taking this approach.

US Government: “See? This is why we need even more money into the military and national security!”

It’s all part of the plan. Keep the population in fear to keep all that sweet tax payer money going into the void that is the military complex and keep expanding laws that limit the freedoms of it citizens in the name of protection

Did Iran ever stop being a terrorist nation though, we have had plots foiled in the UK way before the start of this war, and we did not take part in this or midnight hammer before it, other than shoot down some cruise missiles as they were other neutral states.

  15. Perniciosius on

Well, that’s hardly rocket science, we’ve already seen how the war in Iraq was one of the foundational factors behind the rise of ISIS. But sure, let’s pretend that was a complete surprise.

  16. TomTomXD1234 on

Almost as if everyone, including the US, knew this would happen.

You think a country is going to let themselves be bombed by a superior power without causing chaos?

  17. InternationalRip3859 on

2026 really couldn’t get any better: a looming Great Depression, everyone’s freedoms and liberties being systematically destroyed and to top it off, the biggest catalyst for it all since 9/11. /s

  18. Iran really leaning into the bad guy thing eh.
If they start committing terrorist acts, then they’ll pretty much force everyone’s hands to join the war against them as much as other countries detest Trump and Netanyahu.

  19. BobertRosserton on

Listen I’m against this war with Iran but the posturing is quite literally just that, posturing. A 9/11 like or even smaller attack on US soil would spur the worlds largest ground and air invasion even seen lmao, there’s a reason they’re attacking gulf states and military installations and not just targeting civilians or their infrastructure inside the United States. There’s nothing stopping them from coordinating attacks on US soil other than the perceived future consequences, and as regarded as trump is he’s obviously not gonna lay down while they attack US soil.

  20. OkResponsibility2470 on

Is the entire article really just that sentence? Where’s the source?
Edit: lmao. Love how 90% of these shit sites don’t even quote the actual statement
TL;DR – their threat is that they will attack US / Israel officials no matter where they may be

  21. So Iran’s playbook hasn’t changed before, during, or inevitably after the war. They’ve been funding terrorist organizations for decades to do exactly what they are threatening now. I fucking hate Trump, but I’m all for making the Iranian government pay for the terrorism they’ve supported across the world.

  22. Well at least there are no events or large gatherings for our 250th anniversary to be concerned about. /s

  23. HumansMustBeCrazy on

Why can’t they just go after the elites and where they hang out… Don’t bring the common man into the squabbles between our governments and their countries.

  24. This is one man’s fault. And one man only.

Most people with insane ideologies and unchecked narcissistic, egotistical personalities are dealt with at the local law enforcement level.

That is, unless that person happens to be running for the position of POTUS and a cartoonishly stupid populace votes for him.

Get fucked, US. You’re ruining the world for everyone.

But at least you’re winning, right?

  25. If you threaten tourist sites and civilian spaces globally, that crosses from military deterrence into threatening civilian targets. That fits how most people define terrorism.

And this is how you change support for the war over night and get dragged into another 15 year war. The moment Americans are harmed on American soil, this flips from a political blunder to a defending home narrative. Ironically i think Irans best chance to win this war is for it to stay Donald Trumps big blunder. The moment average Americans accept the war, Iran is cooked.
