The other day I wrote a post about all the cases Vistisen has had and now there is something new in the Vistisen saga.

Berlingske can now say that Anders Vistisen participated in the right-wing national CPAC conference in Budapest and that the flight and hotel were paid for by the Center for Fundamental Rights, an organization which, according to experts, is closely linked to Viktor Orbán’s government.

According to one researcher, it is precisely part of Orbán’s strategy: to pay for politicians and opinion leaders from all over the world so that they become part of an international right-wing radical network.

Vistisen himself calls it “completely normal custom”.

The criticism goes, among other things, on:

• That the conference brings together strongly Orbán-friendly (and according to critics also Putin-friendly) actors

• That the trip was paid for by an organization with close ties to a government in conflict with the EU

and who are currently blocking loans to Ukraine so that they can continue their struggle.

Then you know DF again, one says, but when they think no one is watching, they hang out with all Putin’s best friends in Europe.
