  2. Breadtop in the city and at Sunnybank used to have them, but I am not sure if they still do. They sprinkled with cinnamon sugar instead of icing.

    They’re one of those food trends from the 2010s, like gourmet burgers, food on boards, donuts and elaborate desserts with fairy floss and chocolate in a syringe

    Flour & chocolate (Morningside, Northgate and Redcliffe) does their own version and it is DELICIOUS 🤤

  6. Ate way too many of these in 2014 from Espresso di Manfredi, the cafe on the ground floor of the Marriott hotel in the city. The cafe’s still there, perhaps they still sell them?

  7. Croix is Hillcrest, they do a bunch of things that are croissant based, including sandwiches

  8. Crust pizza chains just started doing them, haven’t tried theirs so can’t speak to the quality

  9. Rainforest bakery in Everton Hills used to do a mean cronut. Haven’t been there in a while, but I assume they still do.
