On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself personally, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko extended his greetings to Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Pakistan Day, sb.by reports citing the Belarusian leader’s press service

    “Belarus greatly appreciates its relations with Pakistan rooted in the principles of mutual respect and co-operation. I’m convinced that our bilateral ties, being supported by the leaders of both countries, will be strengthened to fully unlock our economic potential,” his message to Asif Ali Zardari reads.

    Addressing Shehbaz Sharif, Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that Pakistan has done much to consolidate its independence and progressively improve people’s living standards over the past decades, “Belarus is ready to continue actively co-operating with friendly Pakistan. I’m convinced that through joint efforts we will be able to fulfill the agreements reached during my visit to Islamabad in November 2024 and your visit to Minsk in April 2025.”
