NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The American Conference has announced that the 2026 Women’s Lacrosse Championship will be held at FirstBank Stadium, one of the South’s most historic and iconic venues.

The championship will feature the top four teams in the regular-season standings, with semifinal matchups set for April 30 and the championship game to be played May 2.

Originally opened on Oct. 14, 1922, as Dudley Field, FirstBank Stadium was the first football stadium built in the South and has played host to more than a century of significant sporting events and moments. From its inaugural game between Vanderbilt and Michigan to hosting NFL exhibitions, presidential visits, and major college football showcases, the venue has long stood as a centerpiece of athletics in Nashville.

Renamed in 2022, FirstBank Stadium continues to evolve through the university’s Vandy United campaign, blending its historic legacy with modern enhancements to create a premier championship setting.

The American Conference Women’s Lacrosse Championship will add to that legacy, bringing the league’s top teams to Nashville to compete for the conference title.
