He then drew a comparison between his national team coach Silvio Baldini and his AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri: “We’ve trained well over the last few days; I feel I have more confidence and experience than I did at the first training camp in September. We’re a strong team, full of confidence. Baldini, just like Allegri at Milan, always asks me to stay positive, even when things aren’t going well, and to give my all, especially in difficult moments, because it’s in those situations that your true character comes to the fore.”
