Was he Jewish? Because seeing something like this happen and then seeing reporters from Al Jazeera who are (as described by the article) not liked and referred to by Israeli government as a hamas mouthpiece – you could say their being there was provocative. Not excusing his actions, but it seems like bad decisions to even be there

Al Jazeera is a propaganda mouthpiece. It’s not acceptable behaviour for someone in his position, however you can understand that he’s been wound up. They are going to areas of London they know they’ll get these sort of reactions in. It’s a shame that the UK is so divided currently.

So Met police officers are committing racially and/or religiously motivated hate crimes now?
The arson on the ambulances is (correctly) being treated as one, but somehow all the people who are so hot on that type of racism don’t seem to be so bothered by this one.

We really need to somehow get a handle on the way that ethnic disputes seem to be taking over the country.
I don’t know what the answer is at this point but it really does feel like it’s building towards something. I really hope that we don’t end up with the Troubles 2.0 or something.
