UNESCO and the Assessment of Events in Lviv
In UNESCO’s statement, concern was expressed about a drone strike on a building within the Bernardine Monastery in Lviv, but the organization did not state that Russia carried out the attack.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Georgiy Tihiy criticized UNESCO’s statement for not naming the attacker of the monument strike.
Events in Moldova and Other Consequences
In Moldova, as a result of Russian strikes on energy infrastructure in southern Ukraine on the evening of March 23, the Isaccea – Vulcănești line was temporarily disconnected.
Such cases of conflict escalation underscore the need for active international coordination to preserve peace and cultural heritage.
