My guess is EV market share of new sales will at least double this year vs last year

Everyone else has been caught asleep at the wheel with respect to EVs. Japan especially.

  4. Can’t understate the typical Aussies desire for Succulent Chinese Wheels i suppose.

Bonus points for if it’s electric and you ask “what is the charge % “

Unfortunately, successive govts have been asleep with regards to EV. No infrastructure built to support EV uptake means many can’t get one even if they can afford it. I find myself in this situation. Ready to pull the plug on an EV, but no way to charge it at home or at work. All the public options are pay only, and not location ideal.

  6. I bought a BYD dolphin. When I first got it, it was exciting and rare to see any other BYDs, now I’m seeing them everywhere.

  7. Got Exploren chargers in my apartment building, slow charging but only 50 cents per session…
I just leave it on charge overnight.
    50 cents for 400km, literally free travel…

I know people like to think Trump is a Russian asset but he’s doing wonders for China too.

  9. Because they get tax rebates when they imported it to australia, not when they sold it.

  10. I feel it’s more that all EVs (aside from Kias?) are made in China so ~25% of the new car market is now EVs?
