It is in fact related to the cryptospace , NFT and gaming.

NFT degeneracy is not dead.

It is not a NFT, but it works the same way and make sure people are noticing.

You dont need a web3 AAA game, just a freaking banana, that you can buy for $17, works.

Imagine using this to justify crypto gaming..

Currently crypto gaming is as dead in the water as habbo hotel.

tldr; A simple idle clicker game called Banana has become a massive hit on Steam, reaching over 400,000 concurrent players. The game involves clicking on a banana to potentially receive a banana sticker in the Steam inventory, which can then be sold on the Steam Marketplace. Some rare stickers have sold for as much as $1,400, though most go for around $0.02. The developers describe Banana as a “legal infinite money glitch,” allowing players to earn money by selling virtual items. Despite its simplicity, the game’s success has sparked interest and may inspire similar games.

Okay, so… one, why do you need NFTs or anything then?

Two, this isn’t a “game” so much as a scam that somehow caught on via meme status. The whole “economy” is just a bigger-fool scam in action. Whoever buys a banana last is the biggest fool.

The only way crypto gaming will ever be a thing is if a large game developer like Microsoft studios or Epic games allows you to buy in-game items with bitcoin. Since selling crypto is often a taxable event unless you sell at the EXACT same price you bought at, I don’t see anyone looking to use anything beyond current fiat for mainstream gaming purchases. This sector is deader and useless-er than NFTs
