This is incredibly niche, and can’t be said to happen often enough to make a post about it. They found it lying around and used it, probably. They would have used the first thing they saw more than likely.

  2. That’s a plastic cover that surrounds a plant. It can be put back.

You have to be a bit of dick to take up the footpath though.

  3. Although thats not the actual plant, that’s a shit thing to do as I would imagine they won’t be putting it back perfectly and they are using the footpath.

Hopefully someone told them to fuck off someone else instead if just taking a photo to complain on Reddit.

Who are you? The fun police? It’s a plant protector and not the plant. Also, what is bad about playing cricket and having fun? We used to play cricket on the road as a child. You just move if people need to get past.

  5. Make sure u say please put this back when done, that’s all. Other than that good on them for having fun.

Fuck me, the pearl clutching. It’s a plant cover. It’s a bit of cricket. Looks like a family just having a bit of fun together. Play on

Storm in teacup, it’s a guard for the plant that’s probably already dead due to not being watered enough.

Young blokes are just trying to play cricket in the park.

We have a word like that for people like this. It starts with C and rhymes with shunts…

If you look carefully you can see old mate on the right standing in the garden on the plant they took the guard from.

Heaps of public places in Melbourne to play cricket. This wouldn’t be my choice of place as they are in the middle of the path.

Also @OP, in the future it’s probably preferable to blur out photos of children. Adults are fine.
