Rain to Spread Across Country Monday

Clouds will increase at times across the country Sunday afternoon, with rain forecast nationwide on Monday.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, rain will begin Monday morning in Jeolla Province and on Jeju Island before spreading to the Chungcheong and Gyeongsang regions in the afternoon.

By Monday night, rain will extend to southern Gyeonggi and central and southern Gangwon, before tapering off Tuesday morning.

Monday morning lows will range from five to 12 degrees Celsius, with Seoul at nine degrees, about one to six degrees higher than Sunday.

Daytime highs will range from 17 to 21 degrees nationwide, with Seoul reaching around 20 degrees, similar to Sunday.

Sea waves are expected to reach two to four meters in offshore areas of the southern Yellow Sea and southern waters, while dense sea fog is forecast over parts of the western and eastern seas.
