  1. Good. Another Sovereign Citizen Cooker we no longer have to deal with. Now watch Poorline make him out to be a martyr for “white Australia”? I’m sick of these deranged lunatic far right fanatics.

Still can’t believe they’ve found him alive – I honestly thought if they found him, he would’ve already been dead

this press conference is rough to listen to. Geez. Media training required or a new teleprompter. 😐

  4. It is crazy that he was found 2hrs away (by car) from Porepunkah.. He had to have been sheltered and helped by others.. I wonder if the reward was too much money for someone to resist, in the end.

It’s probably for the best that it ended like this.

A highly publicised trial, with cookers supporting a cop killer, promoting and popularising cooker arguments that are going to be shown on the news. From a social cohesion perspective that had the potential to be extremely damaging.

Please can someone explain exactly what sovereign citizens are? I feel like I missed the boat on this – left Australia at the end of lockdown to a country where they’re unknown.

  7. Had a guy tell me Dan Andrews was behind the initial police deaths because he was scared about Dezi taking him too court. Didn’t really explain how killing the police helped his cause though. Then started talking about digital currency.

Anyone know what the latest conspiracy is now that he’s dead? Was it Dan Andrews again?

  8. Another post has the title as he’s been ‘shit dead’. Classic typo and I enjoyed the comments more than this post.

I wish they arrested him instead. Now he’s a martyr for the other nuts.

  10. His son is posting on social media having a go at people for being happy about the news. Fun and games.

I remember all of the Reddit experts were confidently assuring us that he’d be caught in a day or two.

  12. In the article it mentions a couple times that the mans identity was not confirmed. (“police shot a man believed to be..”, and “VicPol is yet to confirm the identity…”)

Can someone explain what they mean by this? Surely they didn’t just shoot a rando? Is this just a way of saying they haven’t been able to fingerprint them or do a DNA test, so they can’t legally say they know it was him? Or is it possible they just shot at some guy in the bush?
