On Thursday, April 2, the maximum speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour (km/h )will be reinstated on the Dienvidu Bridge exits, according to the Rīga City Council’s Department of Outdoors and Mobility.
The signs are scheduled to be replaced between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The 50 km/h speed limit, which is implemented annually during the winter season, will be lifted on the section from the ramp on Latgales Street to Lubānas Street. The speed limit will also be lifted on the opposite side of the bridge from Lubānas Street to the ramp from Piedrujas Street.
