BZ, wanted by Kosovo for fraud, extradited from Switzerland

The Kosovo Police, with its units from the Directorate for International Police Cooperation in coordination and cooperation with other relevant Kosovo police units and justice institutions, on 01.04.2026 extradited the Kosovar citizen BZ from Switzerland to Kosovo.

The suspect was arrested by Swiss authorities after he was wanted through Interpol with an international warrant issued by Kosovo justice institutions for the criminal offense of “Fraud” and because he had evaded justice.

“The extradition was carried out based on the laws in force and thanks to the close cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and those of Switzerland. The Kosovo Police will continue to exchange information with local institutions, states and international organizations in order to prevent, investigate and detect criminal activities related to the investigation of perpetrators of criminal offenses, as well as other activities in the tracking, capture and arrest of persons and criminal groups operating inside and outside the country,” the Police announced.
