Permanent DST would be bliss. Extra sun in the evening is so good.
Yes the sun wouldn’t rise until 8:30am-ish during the peak of winter, but I’d personally accept that in exchange for the sun not setting at 5pm as soon as people are knocking off from work.

DST is brilliant. I can’t understand why you wouldn’t want more evening light. It seems so counterintuitive to modern work standards to leave work and have no daylight left. Can’t be good for mental health.

When I visited, the urge to climb onto those guns was… oddly difficult to resist.
