As Israel and the United States wage war in Iran and the focus is the military front, another arena no less important is taking shaping – in Riyadh. There, in intense meetings behind closed doors, Gulf states are deliberating with potential regional allies not only how to react to the war but also how to prepare for the world after it, particularly the possibility that security in the region will no longer rely exclusively on the United States.
