    Spain economy is doing much better than past years but most people are not seeing the benefits of this. Rent is too damn high and salaries are too damn low. Big companies, tenants, directives and politicians are the ones eating the cake.

    Hay un dato que se tiene que leer paralelamente a este: la cantidad de trabajos en ‘B’. Los tres ultimos son los que controlan mas que no haya este tipo de trabajos por lo que reflejan mucho mejor las realidades de los parados. Los mas ‘aventajados’ son precisamente los que tienen menos rigor en el control por lo que la estadistica se basa exclusivamente en aquellos apuntados legalmente en el censo del paro en su pais, pero faltan todos aquellos que no lo estan porque van trabajando en’B’. Estaria bien tener esas dos lecturas juntas. A ver si el OP la puede encontrar.

    Spain’s economy (and I mean in a way where yhe average person actually feels wealthier..not GDP) will only significantly improve when it stops allowing tourism to be such an important sector of the economy – that’s a race to the bottom pushing up living costs and in general squeezing margins in other sectors of the economy. Spain’s got loads of talent and hard workers – should focus on technology.
